There is no toilet in the bookshop, but there are public loos just up the hill in the Pepperpot (the octagonal building at the centre of the Square).

There is a small village car park just to the north of the church. There will also be a field open for parking, better suited to 4x4s. You can also park at Fingle Bridge and walk (20 mins) or share lifts (5 mins) up to the village.

2026: toilets (including accessible toilet) are also available in Gidleigh Village Hall, which is just a couple of hundred yards along the lane from the church.

Access to the venue is via a slope and then down a couple of steps. A ramp can be provided to make the venue wheelchair-accessible. We recommend that wheelchair users are accompanied. On arrival, follow the road round the back of the pub, which will take you down a slope to the venue entrance.
NB we are sorry that the venue's toilets are not practicably wheelchair accessible.

There are toilets in the entrance foyer to the Long Room (as well as in the pub next-door). The toilets have step-free access, but we apologise that they are not practicably wheelchair accessible.
